Week 11
This week I am with Brian O’Shaughnessy. We are doing demonstrations of different machines throughout parts of Ireland.
We started at Shandon Park Golf Club in Belfast, Ireland. We showed all the machines we brought with us, including things like the Air2g2, Dakota Spreader, Vredo, and Brush. The next day we stayed around Belfast and went to Hilton Templepatrick Hotel and Country Club. Here we demonstrated how to use a Sandcat, Shockwave, Air2g2 and Brush. Groundsmen from around the area came to see how these machines worked.
We also made a stop at Castletroy Golf Club, where we demonstrated using the Vredo supercompact seeder, Unirake, and Sandcat. Once we were finished there we headed back on the boat to England, where I was meeting up with Ian to go to The Open.
The Open was an amazing experience. I got a chance to see famous golfers from all over the world. We spent most of the day following Rory Mcllroy, and catching a few holes of Bubba Watson, Rickie Fowler and Jordan Spieth along the way.
It was a very eventful week and one of the best weeks of my trip so far. Next week I am going down to the London Area with Ben Taylor, hoping to get to see some stadiums around London.
