Machinery Demonstrator
Based in Marton, Cheshire with UK and occasional overseas travel

We supply innovative equipment to professional grounds teams across football, golf, cricket, and municipal facilities. As part of our commitment to excellent customer support, we provide comprehensive product demonstrations and operator training.
Role Purpose
As a Machinery Demonstrator, you will showcase the performance and benefits of Campey’s product range to potential and existing customers. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and explaining machinery in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver on-site machinery demonstrations at customer locations throughout the UK and occasionally overseas
- Confidently operate a wide range of turf care equipment, including aerators, scarifiers, seeders, and utility vehicles
- Provide in-depth product knowledge, highlighting features, benefits, and correct use of each machine
- Train customer staff on safe operation, maintenance procedures, and best practice
- Prepare demonstration units, including servicing, cleaning, and loading/unloading machinery
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions, open days, and dealer events to represent the company and support sales activities
- Complete demonstration reports and gather customer feedback to support the sales process
- Liaise closely with the sales team, service department, and logistics staff to plan and coordinate demonstration schedules
- Assist with machine handovers and operator inductions following sales
- Ensure all activities comply with health and safety requirements
About You:
- Experience operating professional turf care, agricultural, or grounds maintenance machinery (essential)
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage and build rapport with customers at all levels
- Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working independently on the road
- Full UK driving licence (essential); trailer towing licence (B+E) preferred
- Mechanically minded, with practical knowledge of machine operation and basic maintenance
- Flexible attitude to working hours and travel requirements
- Professional presentation and a commitment to excellent customer service

About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks
- Organised and takes pride in keeping things tidy
- A team player with a can-do attitude
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weathers
- Ideally experienced in a similar role (though training will be provided)
- A holder of a forklift licence (desirable, but not essential)
- A driver with a full UK driving licence (preferred)
Workshop Mechanics
Due to continued expansion, we are recruiting for qualified WORKSHOP MECHANICS.
- Must have a good knowledge of tractors from 25hp up to 100hp.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and groundcare equipment in a workshop environment.
- Ability to perform repairs and maintenance using correct tools and equipment.
- Complete all reports and administration required in a timely manner and to a high quality (job cards).
- Maintain a clean working environment and assist with overall workshop organisation.
Additional skills
- Computer skills – email, Office 365 (word, excel) etc
- Forklift truck license (desirable, not essential).
- Interpersonal skills – cheerful with a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new challenges.
Hours:
Monday to Thursday, 8.30am until 4.30pm and to 3.45pm on a Friday.

Salary:
Depending on experience, but in the region of £28,000 – £34,000 + overtime

Warehouse / Parts Assistant
Due to staff retirement, we are seeking a Warehouse / Parts Assistant to work at our Bosley branch.
Campeys Part’s Department is a busy place from servicing customers to ensuring our stock is correct, two days are never the same! Excellent customer service is a must, regardless of the customer, we expect all our customers to get the same outstanding levels of customer service.
Experience of working in a ground-care, agriculture, garden machinery or automotive parts department is an advantage, but not essential, full training and mentoring will be given to the right person who does not possess industry experience but is willing to learn our commitment to excellent customer service.
The role includes:
- Picking orders (of spare parts).
- Packing orders, packages and pallets.
- Dispatching orders via our computer system.
- Logistics, booking daily courier shipments – UK & Overseas.
- Un-packing deliveries and booking in stock.
- Maintaining stock of packing materials
- Assist with stock control.
- Keep a tidy work space.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Methodical and tidy.
- Computer skills. Knowledge of Sage Advantage but not essential
- Forklift trained is an advantage but not essential.
Hours:
8.30am until 4.30pm (37.5 hours per week)
