EXPERIENCED MACHINERY MECHANIC / SERVICE TECHNICIAN

We are looking for a skilled, motivated Experience Machinery Mechanic / Service Technician to help maintain our vast range of sports turf groundcare machinery and tractors, to keep our team running and providing a first-class service to our customers.

Main roles & responsibilities:
• Perform diagnostics, service, repairs & maintenance on all types of ground-care equipment.
• Complete administrative tasks such as job cards & diagnostic reports.
• Perform pre-delivery inspections on new & used equipment.
• Attend & participate in relevant service training, including product update programs as and when required to ensure up-to-date product knowledge & technical skill levels.
• Using company service vehicles, travel to customer based sites & depots to undertake diagnostic, service & repair works.

Skills & Qualifications:
• Experience performing service, repairs & maintenance on all types of ground-care equipment.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to use standard computer applications and internet functions
• Good customer relationship skills & computer skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Full UK driving licence & fork lift training certificate preferred.
• Ability to work extended hours

OUTSIDE SERVICE TECHNICIAN / ENGINEER 

We are looking for a skilled, motivated Outside Service Technician/Engineer to help maintain our vast range of sports turf ground care machinery and tractors, to keep our team running and providing a first-class service to our customers. 

The work is extremely varied and will see you working on a range of tractors, mowers and some of the most advanced turf maintenance machinery in the market – the kind that are used by golf courses, football clubs, councils, private estates and sports grounds.  Some of the work will take place within our workshop, but much is out on the customer’s site, working within a 60-mile radius of our head office.  There are times when it could be nationwide and sometimes into Europe.

The ability to solve problems and use your own initiative is highly important, as well as the high standards we expect from on an individual when working on customer’s machinery or advising our dealers on how to fix problems from our own range of machinery.

Our current Service Engineer has nearly 50 years’ experience in the role, and has the ability to keep customers happy and their machinery working – a “flagship of our company”.  The ideal candidate would be expected to carry on this role to the same if not higher standard.

Full UK driving licence essential & fork lift training certificate preferred.

YARD PERSON

We are seeking to appoint a full-time person to assist outside in our yard, reporting directly to our General Manager.

We are looking for a person that can work independently and part of a team.

Key responsibilities would be:

  • Washing down tractors and machinery.
  • Preparing them for delivery to the customer.
  • Assisting in the preparation of goods inwards / outwards.
  • Assisting in keeping the yard tidy, general maintenance duties.

Full UK driving licence essential & fork lift training certificate preferred.

Would suit an active person.
