Campey Turf Care Systems has welcomed another dealer to the group by appointing CLS Selfdrive, a division of Cleveland Land Services as a dedicated dealership.
CLS, who is based in Cleveland, will be covering north, east and west Yorkshire, providing the entire range of Campey equipment, including the Imants, Dakota, and Campey range of products all the way through to the popular Air-2G2.
Managing director of Campey Turf Care Systems, Richard Campey, is delighted to have CLS joining them as a dealer, and is certain their expertise and acute knowledge of the Yorkshire area will be a massive benefit.
“We now have a company who is specifically focused on selling Campey products in the Yorkshire area as a priority, and that’s important for us,” he began.
“We have worked with CLS for many years providing equipment for their contracting and hire businesses. As a dedicated dealer they will spend the time required demonstrating our range of machinery, and we think it will work very well for both parties.”
John Miller, CLS managing director, also recognises that benefit of joining Campey as a dealer, having been a customer for years he knows the high quality machines and service they provide, and he is looking forward to offering this his local customer base as a dealer.
“CLS are delighted to join Campey’s network of dealers,” he said.
“Through our Sports construction and Selfdrive divisions, we have been buyers and users of Campey machinery for many years. We understand the importance of the reliable, specialist and innovative machinery Campey’s can provide and look forward to supplying such quality along with great customer service to our local area.”
Peter Stanley, regional hire and sales manager at CLS Selfdrive, has ten years experience of ground care machinery, and will be responsible for sales of the Campey machines, a role which he is looking forward to.
“The company has been dealing with Campey machinery for many years, so I’m looking forward to getting involved with the high-tech equipment they have to offer.
“When you use a machine like the Air2G2 Air Inject you can see that Campey are a forward thinking company that are tackling the issues groundsmen and greenkeepers face, and I’m looking forward to being a part of that.”
CLS have been trading since 1968, growing their operation to include plant hire, landscape, civil engineering, drainage, sports facilities construction and maintenance work, and continue their success in the industry after 38 years.
This success is similar to that of Campey Turf Care Systems, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary in the business this year, having started with Richard’s vision of supplying high quality purpose built equipment to help turf professionals achieve increasingly higher standards of sports surfaces.
30 years on and Campey continues to drive standards forward with revolutionary new concepts such as fraze mowing, using the Koro Field Top Maker, and aeration with the Air2G2 GT Air Inject, being only two of a range of products that are distributed in Europe, Asia, Africa and the USA.
The partnership with CLS is a reflection of both companies continuing effort to develop new markets and provide the best machinery available to the turf industry.
